  While Education is not an official municipal responsibility, it is clearly an essential component for the social development of any society
  As both a parent of a school aged child and as a former community organizer in two of
the borough’s community education centres, I’ve chosen to defend the interests
of young and not so young students in the district that I represent.
Motions tabled
Motion on school funding   Motion to support the community education centres; this was relayed to the Montreal city council.   Motion on an application to preserve the territory of the Southwest in the Montreal school board, CSDM.
